Island Pasman has been inhabitated since Prehistory. In 990. name Pasman was first time mentioned. Inhabitants are directed mostly to agriculture, fishing and tourism. Since the fall of Venetia, island Pasman was under French and Austrian rule, and since 1918. it is part of Croatia.

Dobropoljana is located on northeast side of island Pasman. It was first time mentioned in 1270.
Kraj is located in southeast part of island Pasman. It has two beautiful sand beaches. You can visit Franciscan monastery with a church in Kraj.
Town Tkon is most developed and most important place on island Pasman. You can visit Benedictine monastery of St. Kuzma and Damjan. Municipality Tkon spreads on southeast part of island Pasman and on 13 islets.
